Belts

Junior rank belts are 10th Gup White thru 1st Gup Red. There are progressive ranks in Black Belts as well. Master rank is first achieved when you earn your 4th Dan Black Belt. It takes about 4 1/2 years of study, traning and testing to get your Black Belt.

Testing

Junior Belt tests are scheduled in February, May, August, and November. 10th thru 4th Gup colored belts test every three months. 3rd thru 1st Gup Red Belts test every 6 months. Black Belt testing is held in April and October. All Black Belts not testing for a new rank must recertify their Black Belts at this time.
